If this really is a not-for-profit organisation I cannot see the justification in charging 38 dollars for a 1 hour webinar, considering that there are breakfast clubs in Europe that last for a few hours inclusive of a light breakfast for free !!!!

Also there are other publication backed webinars that are free that provide the same amount of BICSI credits...

Come on BICSI, surely you can arrange sponsorship and donated speakers, as this is how the breakfast and pub clubs are successfully arranged.

I certainly don't mind paying $38.00 to sit in the comfort of my office, to learn something new from a SME, via a webinar.

In fact, I drove 4 hours one morning to a $25.00 BICSI Region Meeting in the adjoining State, and had a great time learning what's new, seeing what new products vendors were displaying, meeting interesting people, renewing old friendships, and touring a really neat telecom / CATV / security training facility.

Looked at other wireless organization options. Can't afford an over $1K per year membership fee, plus over $1K conference fee.

A webinar through an HR type outfit is over $200.00 for one hour. Too rich for me. I'll remain loyal, learning new things via $38.00 one hour BICSI webinars.

It’s great to have speakers and approach a donation mediated move to fix all the fund troubles rising within the functioning part. I think the clubs could thus be promoted to without fail in utilizing the available resources in reserve.
