Hi guys, it would be very interesting to share what's our experience using Cabling Management Systems (also called cabling intelligent systems).
With the recent release of the new Standard (ISO/IEC 18598:2016 Information technology -Automated infrastructure management AIM systems- Requirements, data exchange and applications), the implementation or migration toward those systems could be increased in mission critical buildings or data centers.
My concern is how hard it would be to migrate from a traditional cabling system to the new AIM system, in terms of migration process, time, costs, downtime risks during the process, technicians skills to operate a software, SNMP restrictions, Interconnect vs Cross-connect solutions, or any other you could consider important to keep in mind.

Thanks so much!
