Very nice post to explain the server disaster recovery in a data center. For companies depending largely upon their IT infrastructure, backup infrastructure plan is a necessary requirement in case of service outage or natural disaster. This ensure the uptime for their critical business services and applications.

Prior to having a good disaster recovery plan for a data center, one should identify disaster safe locations as well to minimize the risk of data loss in extreme situations. Some of the data center experts have identified few of the places worldwide. Salt Lake City is one of them in Utah region. Recently, C7 launched new 95,000 sq. ft. data center and office complex in this region to enhance their disaster recovery plans. Many other big players are moving forward to advance their co-location spaces in this region.

Most of the US companies are choosing Utah for their data center site. You should read this post instead of thinking why - Why Do So Many Companies Choose Utah For Their Data Center Site?

Hi, I like the information you have provided here about the server disaster recovery in a data center. That's why I mostly suggest setting up a virtual server which is more safe and less worrying about data loss.
