| | Other than the manufacturer's recommendations on temperature ranges in which to install cabling, is there anything in the TDMM that deals with this. I have a job in which the general contractor will not allow any cabling to be installed until all HVAC units are up and running and the building is "conditioned". Temperature is not an issue (we are currently at the 60 degree mark) and so I need to know what part humidity plays in this. I have sent e-mail to a few cable manufacturer's but have not heard back. Thanks in advance. |

| | I'll be curious to know what you hear back from the manufacturers on this as well. The only environmental factor I've ever heard of is a temp >32F for CMP cable. Less than that and the jacket may have a tendancy to crack. If the building is at 60F, the only possible concern is that it may drop to below 32F and be disturbed by pulling other cable around it. |

| | I finally got thru to the Engineering department at Commscope. After they stopped laughing, they told me that temperature was the only real issue. They even sent me an e-mail that I could take to the GC to make him happy. |
