Dear All.
Let me ask about plenum method. The client asked the lacing for the Plenum Fiber Optic cable on the ladder cable tray.
Do we need the plenum rated lacing wire for this or just normal type of lacing wire?
In my opinion, the normal lacing wire would not be good for the plenum cable.
and is there any specification for lacing wire? such as UFGS, UFC and so on.

Plenum-rated velcro wraps (lacing) are needed above accessible (lay-in) ceilings that act as a return air plenum for the HVAC. This is a code requirement from the NEC.

In a telecom room, cables should be bundled and attached to the ladder rack. Use of velcro wras (lacing) is common, but they don't need to be specifically plenum rated since the telecom room is not an above-ceiling return air plenum.
