I am recently new to the telecom field and am preparing a takeoff for bidding a project. The drawing shows 150 pr. 24 ga. telephone cabling from the MPOE to 110 punchdown blocks in the IDF's. Cat5e is then run from the IDF's to the individual rooms. Is it as simple as patch cords from the punch down block in the IDF to a CAT5e patch panel and then out to the individual rooms with Cat5e? Thank you in advance for any help/advice you can give to me.
