I've been reading A LOT about cat7 and basically is not standardized by TIA - yet- is anybody using it for real? I've spoke with some network professional that claims cat7 is just cat6 or cat6a with a different packing or jacket

As CAT7 have special connectors and do not approved by standards there is no recommendations to use it in DC.

I was actually reading on the matter, and the mainly difference between cat's cable are wired. Among other things, of course.

So, basically cat7 is a fancy Cat6a with some aesthetic https://beyondtech.us/blogs/beyond-blog/difference-between-ethernet-cable-cat5-cat5e-cat6-cat6a-should-you-use
